It is brass. The lamp is free of damage and works great. The brass has some mild tarnishing here and there - we do not deep clean or polish vintage or antique items as this may detract from the inherent value of the item - we leave that decision up to the customer.
The lamp measures 12" x 10" overall [30.5 x 25.4 cm] - the base has a 6.25" diameter [15.9 cm].
