Capiz Shell Plate

I received this vintage capiz shell appetizer plate from my dad. He and my mother brought it back with them from their vacation to the Philippines back in 1965.

This mid century small tray features a very glossy hand polished body made of hand-sewn and decoupage shells and was hand made in the Philippines

The plate is in very good condition without damage or discoloration - no chips, cracks, crazing, or fading.

It measures 6 1/4" x 6 1/4".
