Mid Century Stetson 25 Open Road Fedora, Silverbelly Beaver Felt - Size 7

I found this 1950's Stetson No. 25 Open Road Fedora in an estate sale in Yreka, California recently. The hat is in great condition because, as the man's daughter put it, he only wore it to church and back (when and if he went).

Ike Eisenhower and Lyndon B Johnson were rarely seen without theirs. The hat is stylish enough for daytime or evening wear, but casual enough to bale hay and sign executive orders.

The color is Silverbelly and the body is beaver felt.

It is a size 7 & the hat opening has a circumference of 22".

This hat is in excellent, near mint condition without fading, or odor. There is no staining or cracking of the sweat band. The felt has no damage, spotting, combing, or warping. The plastic dome protector is 100% intact and is spotless.

The hat comes with its original box, but the hatbox has seen better days; it has a lot of miles on it.
