I came across this piece of artisan glass dinnerware at an estate sale in Kenwood, California some time ago.
It has been perfectly kept and is in great condition and it is waiting for a new forever home.
This early century (1930's) Duncan Miller Mayonnaise Bowl and Under plate Set features a tulip shaped flared verge bowl with a coordinated tulip under plate.
Known for their superior quality and craftsmanship Duncan & Millers pieces usually required ten artisans to hand craft each of their fabulous glass wares and this piece is no exception.
Both the bowl and the under plate are in excellent condition - free of chips, cracks, crazing, pitting, or discoloration.
Measurements are as follows: the bowl is 2 1/4" x 4 3/4" in diameter | the under plate is 6" in diameter.
