Mid Century Lazy Susan Relish Tray, c.1950s
Mid Century Lazy Susan Relish Tray Seeks New Forever Home.
The tray features 5 compartments and a floral flourish pattern. The base is a chromed brass and stainless steel revolving unit. The tray can be used independent of the base as the tray sets atop the base - they are not mounted to one another. The glass is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, or staining. The base has a bit of shelf wear and needs a proper cleaning - we do not clean or polish vintage or antique items as this may reduce the inherent value of the item - we leave that decision up to the customer.
The tray measures 12" in diameter [30.1 cm].

Vintage Davis and Sanford Camera Tripod Model C/BB with Compound Multi Axis Pan Head & Canvas Bag, c.1982
Vintage Davis and Sanford Camera Tripod Model C/BB with Compound Multi-Axis Pan Head & Canvas Bag Seeks New Forever Home.
It is model C/BB in black. This tripod folds to 31" and expands to 68" [78.8 and 173.0 cm]. This tripod is quite sturdy and fairly lightweight for its age. The feet can have a flat, round, and spike setting. It is a multi-axis compound pan head. The rosettes are both present, in very good condition, and have their own storage / carry sack. The camera mount screw is reversible for easy packing and safe transportation. The tripod is free of bends and dents. There are some minor paint scratches here and there but it is in very good condition overall. The orange grip pad on the plate is ripped and worn - see photo. The canvas carry bag features lambskin ends and sturdy grip with two straps for secure fastening; it has travel wear and the words 'camera tripod' printed in black ink - see photo.
If you are in search of an excellent tripod that is both fairly lightweight yet incredibly durable for use indoors or in nature - this is the one for you. Bottom line is that they just don't make them like this anymore - this is a terrific tripod at a very good price.

Vintage Metallic Acid Glazed Flower Pot Planter Flame Red Orange and Silver Black seeks new forever home.
I love under-glazed pottery; especially the dark umber and fire-orange hues. This is an amazing metallic acid-glazed flower pot. It features deep rustic red-orange under-glazed with burnt umber and then acid-glazed with a wonderful mix of black, white, and silver to create a deep metallic gray surround at the base. The interior features a weep hole for planting / potting. The planter/pot is in very good condition without damage - no chips, cracks, or other than intentional crazing.

Korean Theater Masks - Yangban and Bune - Aristocrat and Woman - c.1970's Korea
Vintage Yangban and Bune Korean Theater Masks 3D Relief Framed in Oak seeks new forever home.
It features two characters who are usually seen together in Korean plays known as the Hahoe Maskdance Drama - Yangban and Bune. There is a great blog article on the tradition of these masks as well as many more character masks here.
The relief is framed in solid oak and features a built in wall hanger. The masks are beautifully detailed plasticized resin and hand painted.

Mid Century 5 Compartment Vignette Shadow Box - Country Kitchen Decor
Vintage wood shadow box with 5 vignette compartments and a sliding glass cover seeks new forever home.
It has 5 separate vignette compartments. The shadowbox hung on a kitchen wall in an old farmhouse in Northern California for several decades; it was given to my mother by her mother before she passed; we know it is older than 1950's, but unsure exactly how old - but the 1950's era is the first memory of it my mother had. It is very old but still sturdy. One of the compartments is wallpapered and has some glue residue from where dried beans and a little metal grinder had been glued down; see photos. The cabinet finish has a few small dings but the original glass is intact and free of damage.
To decorate the vignettes the base comes off, the glass slides out (as shown in the last photo), the items are glued in, and the glass and base reassembled; finally just glue and / or tack the base on and shelve it or hang it - very cool old piece.
It measures 11 5/8" x 10" overall and the interior space measures 8" x 9" [29.5 x 25.4 cm and 20.3 x 22.9 cm].

Campy 1950's Kahlua Bottle - Great TIKI Decor!
Vintage Kahlua Bottle seeks new forever home.
This is a teal green Kahlua bottle hand made and hand finished in Mexico, c.1950's. The teal green bottles first started production in 1937 and stayed in production throughout the better part of the early to mid 1960's. This particular bottle's owner acquired it during the 1950's and held on to it. The bottle is free of chips, cracks, crazing, staining, or fading; while the labeling is gone, the stopper is present.
It measures 11 1/2" x 4" x 3 1/2" [29.2 x 10.2 x 8.9 cm].
This is a teal green Kahlua bottle hand made and hand finished in Mexico, c.1950's. The teal green bottles first started production in 1937 and stayed in production throughout the better part of the early to mid 1960's. The Hummel Gold Christmas Ornament Collection 35 Pieces 1987 - 1988 with Storage Box
This Hummel Gold Christmas Ornament Collection Seeks a New Forever Home.
This is a set of golden ornaments from Hummel. It is the Hummel Golden Christmas Ornament Collection. The set is actually 36 pieces, mailed once per month starting in May of 1987 and ending in December of 1988. Unfortunately, the 36th piece was somehow lost in the mail or otherwise misplaced and never arrived. The set has never been used and has been stored in the original boxes since 1988. 28 of the ornaments are in great condition while 7 of them have curled as was notorious with this ornament set. The curling can be cured with heat, time, and patience. All come with their individual boxes and COAs and the main sturdy storage box is in very good condition as well.

This is a galvanized metal bucket. It features a stamped tulip pattern with a bizarre leather-like paint coating. The bucket is the perfect size and shape to use as a hose keeper - coil it right in to the container. This pail would also be excellent as an ice chest for a boat load of cold beer. Consider it as simple decor or a kitschy way of capturing and holding rain water for your plants.
There are literally dozens of ways to upcycle this unique and wonderfully shabby old metal bucket.

This set of 2 very heavy bronze wall sculptures seek a new forever home.
They were sand-cast and crafted by hand in mid-century India, c.1950's. Each has a three dimensional relief of an Asian scene. The reverse has a hanger wire that does not come through the front - these plates can be used as wonderful trays or dishes as well.
Both pieces are in very good condition without scratches, nicks, or dings; the bronze has some tarnish; we do not deep clean or polish vintage or antique items as this may reduce the inherent value of the item - we leave that decision up to the customer.

Charlies Angels Bubble Gum Trading Cards
I absolutely loved these things. I would collect aluminum cans and bottles, scrimp and save, sweep out the back of the local Napa Auto parts store in the afternoons and on weekends; I even spent my birthday card money to buy as many of these as I could. Once you turn them over they formed a full size picture. It was always a thrill when you got a new piece of the puzzle, and a real bummer when you got a duplicate. I had such a crush on Sabrina but I don't think I was ever able to completely fill in her picture. Kate, if you happen to hear about this, please send me a head-shot!

DQ, The Drive In, and Too Many Kids!
I remember my dad bringing home big bags of burgers, fries, and shakes from DQ in Carmichael, Ca. on the very occasional drive-in movie nights (typically Thursdays because the car-load of folks was cheapest). We would gorge ourselves like thieves before we left for the movies (as to not need to go to the concessions). The burgers were wrapped in real parchment paper with colorful DQ teardrop dots, the fries came in a small matching bag (grease soaked of course), and the milkshake cups featured Dennis the Menace. Life was good.

Vintage wall decor, c.1979 seeks new forever home.
This is a wood and brushed copper hanging wall plaque. The piece contains a love sentiment that reads: "Love is the only flower that grows and blossoms without the aid of season." That is a proclamation once noted by the "Prophet" Kahlil Gibran.
The sculpted rose is elevated a bit above the brushed copper backing for a beautiful 3D effect. This piece is in excellent condition without damage or fading. The plaque measures 7 3/4" x 5 3/4" [19.7 x 14.7 cm].

Without film and developing we have no idea how well and if these cameras work. However, without film all seem to function to some degree. All will need cleaning and TLC.
