Vintage Muzak M7L PA Microphone Award Vintage Home and Office Decor

I received this item from a friend of the family after his father passed away. It was his father's retirement gift from the Ford dealer he worked at for 30 years - the golden microphone.

Chuck was the service department manager at a Ford in northern California and when he retired his cronies cut the cord of his Muzak PA mic and built this adorable wood box to mount it on.

Now it is just waiting to take its place as retro motif decor in a new forever home's office, den, or study.

What a great movie prop or production studio decor.

The microphone's cord has been cut and it is no longer functional - it is for display only.

The piece is in very good condition - there is one small chip on the mic top.

The piece measures 12" x 8" x 6".
